I'm trying to think if I knew any other geeky type people in town, but alas most of them moved to Knoxville after school (we will follow in 2007, heh). My exhubby is a doll and more geek than I'll ever be, but he works graveyards and is painfully anti-social (moreso than me, which is hard)... hum... nonspecific is a lot of fun, not quite geek but spot on for liberal, smart, and happy (actually, she's a little buzz of energy that's hard to pin down much of the time, heh). Hum... well, let's see, I know no one else in town - yay for being semi-reclusive ;) Still, we must meet up sometime, while school is out and I have some sort of sanity, yep.

I come off a bit anti-social myself, but most of that is adopted because of past angst. At heart I'm really quite gregarious....

Hee! Semi-reclusiveness.... I've been living almost 24/7 in the basement of my aunt and uncle's home for the past few months--I'm too young to drive, I don't go to school, and I can't even work yet (although my citizenship came through, and I went to apply for my SSN last week--yay!)--and the aforementioned gregariousness of my soul is going a little batshite. I'm so incredibly glad that I've met someone who lives here that I can actually hang about with....

...which is mildly ironic, considering we've never met face-to-face. :D

LOL... well, I know most my online friends as well as I would if they were standing in front of me, so it's not odd to me to "meet" someone online, even though I'm generally quite careful about it as I've also been burned by online folk before (which, sadly, is the way of the world... oops, there's that cynic in me, ought to go stifle her I suppose).

During this time of year, many people 'round here move to a more reclusive state... but when the flowers and all start in the spring, I think everyone wakes back up, hehe. I know I'm looking forward to seeing the first flowers up, that's for sure! I've had enough of this dreery rain... either snow or warm up, blast it!

Yeah...The great thing about online friends is, they don't move away. :) Nen (er, Su) and I have a really good friend, who we met through roleplay, and we've known her for about a year and a half. We write each other twenty-five page paperletters all the time. Nongeeks, however, don't understand how we can consider this person a real live friend even though I've only ever met her once (on my way down here, I drove through her hometown and we met up and went to Boston Pizza and talked for two hours straight) and Su hasn't met her at all. ::shrug:: Don't you just love the computer age?

I saw a guy with a T-shirt which said 'I look better online....' :)

The flowers that bloom in the spring (tra la), eh? I imagine springtime in Tennessee will be very pretty. Back home it was always just sort of...slushy. But I am ::not:: looking forward to another summer here. O_O

HEE!

Yeah, yeah. =D I regularly go to the music store in the mall and make out with the baby grand(s) there. Pianos are gorgeous, aren't they? ::swoons and dies of pritties::

And it's not really a laptop. But it is a computer! The aunt and uncle gave us a brand new computer for Christmas. Just randomly. Because they love us and we needed one. :D :D :D Tis amazing.

Hee! It's ridiculously cute. My muses have mixed reactions to it. Ezri Dax is like "Aww!" Ezri Tigan, however, is all "...okay, what the frack?!" :D :D

Yaaaay! We don't have the internet access yet (the reason we've been around so much lately is that we're housesitting for a lady with access, and she doesn't mind if we use it), but we will as soon as we get the computer set up! ::glomps:: YAY OMG!

That...just...shatteredmyfaithinthestabilityoftheuniverseIhavenothinglefttoliveforgoodbye.

::dies::

Seriously. That's just...wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.

Hee! I'll post pictures eventually. It really is a sweet little thing.

My muses (Ezri Dax, and MirrorUniverse!Ezri Tigan) are looking at the doll with great interest. Dax is all "That's cute." Tigan, however, is more prone to "What the hell?! Get that thing away from me!" =D
