Interesting! I can see how Audrey would want to resolve things with Jack even though she has moved on.

Good for you for writing some new 24 fic. Perhaps I will be inspired by the new season.

I don't know why I thought you didn't like Audrey. Sorry about that.

In my story, Audrey hasn't fully moved on even though she has tried to. This will become clearer in later chapters. I am still trying to figure out a way to give it a happy, or at least hopeful, ending, if I can do so without it seeming trite or implausible. In spite of everything that's happened I still hold out hope for Jack and Audrey. Things probably won't turn out the way I want on the show - the fanfiction you wrote a few years ago is likely much more realistic. But the nice thing about writing fanfic is getting to choose how things turn out.
