Another article I read took the same research "findings" to mean that the goth subculture was actually a positive network for kids to fall back on and did much more good than harm. Then I read another using the same results again to clump DnD kids in with the goth kids as well. Its just interpretation.
It might be a positive network for kids to relate to but then again so is any other network of kids with the same intrest. It is the fact that goths include some crazy practices. Just like you said with DnD people. If you bust out the swords and fire balls someone is going to get omgwtfbbqpwned. That is just common sence.
