So, this weekend isn't anything too out of the ordinary; first weekend of school, dad's birthday, going to a concert, watched HYD Final. Just normal things that can happen at any time.
But OMG IT WAS SO EPIC.

did you know matsujun had read the manga before he had been offerd to play a part in the series? according to him this was all his older sister's fault (but he DID read till the end though). and as an anecdote, his fave character and the one he thought was really cool was actually RUI! so when he was told he was to play doumyouji he was sort of disappointed! lol
this was all commented in a TFP II that had hanadan's cast as guests.

According to the wiki article I'd read he had read it (it didn't say why, so the sister bit is new to me even though I can totally believe it). Then, after getting the part, he went through the entire series in a matter of days. I also remember hearing about him preferring Rui, but identifying so much with Domyouji after reading the manga that he started crying. LOL.

After all of this, though, I can't imagine anyone else better for the role. I feel the same about Shin and Momo - he has a brilliant knack for capturing the spirit of and looking exactly like his manga characters.
