I'm always into seeing other people's tutorials so I figured, why not catalogue the steps for what I'm working on? It's an ink image I am in the process of coloring (right now, actually, at a snail's pace). So here is how I made the ink drawing. Warning: big images!!

I was on hold with the insurance company while I was doing the pattern. Being on hold makes me draw patterns anyway - might as well put it to use.
