I need crit help. This is for something other than me doodling around, so I'd feel better if others had a look and pointed things out if there's something wrong.
There's a really beautiful elegancy to all your work and this is no exception. I love your clouds and the birds and circular composition. The sea gull in question above, I think may be happier either higher up or down and no quite as overlapping the rocks and the clouds at the same point, but I definitely like him to lead into the composition and give it a sense of depth.
There are some proportion/anatomy issues that really stand out to me. Would you like a drawover? Because me trying to explain the this going out that way weird sounds well, weird.
oo ... a draw over...... <3 i would like that very much.... i can't guarantee all edits will be taken despite your hard work, but some likely will be. <3 Do you mind? Do you have time?
I won't be offended even if you dismissed an entire draw over. It's your piece and you get the power to do what you want with it. Now that time thing... uh.... I should have time tonight when I finish these roughs. Or when I take another break because, Gah. Why are they not finished nooooow!
Biggest issue is her head. The current placement and direction don't work with the neck and body and the results flatten her. It's not quite clear whether its her head not wrapping the right direction (my first thought) or the fact her neck and head isn't quite in the right placement for the proper neck to turn that direction.
Her overall proportions are a bit strange, but it could be stylistic choice. Her head's a touch big for my tastes. She's got wide shoulders and tiny torso and hips.
The right leg looks a bit short because the foreshortening isn't quite working. And some other notes in there.
I'm done being annoying. Hopefully something helps one way or another at least. Good luck with it and I can't wait to see what the final looks likes even if you ignore all.
you mean jisuk's project? <3 i cant believe you missed it either, seeing as how your brain is connected to the internet. X3 j;qwkrjawker <3 i'm so excited to be in a deck of cards. T_T; currently i'm too afraid to start painting it.

A pose like this, with all the foreshortening and balancing, is hellish to draw unless you get someone to pose for you. Say the word, and I'll do it.
