LJ alerts pulled themselves together to tell me it's Myra Reldon's birthday... if that means it's actually your birthday, then Happy Birthday! Er, from the mun of thrasherpunk and 1stmacleod, if that's not clear. Anyways! If it's not your birthday, excuse this as the half-awake rambling of somebody who got woken by the cat early this morning.
Heh, it actually is my birthday, and thank you very much! And that icon just made it a very awesome day. I've been on a massive Jim Henson kick the last couple days, and flailing Kermit is fantastic.
Woot! Did you see the Kermit painting on DA/the 365 blog? Also I just crossposted to LJ my latest 365 post... which is based on a Shadow pulp. Loosely. Okay, mostly it's just goofy.
I did, it's fabulous! And I am so following your blog now. I've been peeking in occasionally, and I think I'll just officially follow it now, because I'm really enjoying all the great things you're doing over there. Goofy? Maybe. Awesome? Absolutely!
Ye gods, it's been a while. I am sorry I fell off the face of the earth for a bit there. Things seem to have changed rather a lot, and everybody's been moving over to Dreamwidth, and I'm trying to get back inside The Shadow's head and RP again. I wanted to see if you're still around and interested in Myra and/or Zatoichi, because you remain one of the most delightful people I've ever played with.
Aaw! You have been such a fantastic person and were my first real RP person on LJ, I'd love to pick up a thread with you again! You've been missed and hopefully things are going well for you! I have not made any transitions over to Dreamwidth for RP, though with changes on LJ, RP can be a bit more cumbersome in certain forums. Mostly I toodle around sixwordstories these days on various accounts, but I was actually thinking about tossing Zatoichi back into the mix the other day after seeing Rey's sketch over on DA!
Was I? I didn't realize, or perhaps I'd forgotten, but you're such an excellent writer that it's hard to think of you as having been new. Metody has moved to Dreamwidth, as have I, and there does seem to be a mirror of sixwordstories there although I haven't played in it myself. I do know Rey has several accounts over there now, so I'd more or less thought that was where things are happening, these days. Apart from the difficulty with format changes here on LJ, apparently the newer default layouts physically give some people migraines. If you wanted to join up, it's simple enough, and in a day or less you can import everything from your journal here to the one on Dreamwidth. I suppose if you couldn't, I wouldn't have been so willing to move. I'm still wondering if I should make some sort of duplication of the community entries. If, on the other hand, you're determined to stay here, I'm willing to play where you are.
It's not so much determined as the one comm I still post in and the more regular interactions I have on SWS haven't moved over to Dreamwidth so I haven't really had much reason to make the switch over. I'm not loyal or tied to LJ, so I would certainly be fine with making an account over there. At the moment however, I'm up visiting family so I'm replying from a mobile device. Making accounts on such a tiny screen isn't favorable, but I can certainly make one when I return home!
