So, again it's more or less "the victors writing history". Looking up stuff for writing SpN fic led me to this history of the pentagram, so I knew a little bit before I read this. I think it's so interesting, how religion has evolved, in positive *and* negative ways.

The same games are being played out in today's politics too. Sometimes I think we are so 'evolved' and then I read the newspaper, lol. It's still facinating to me!
