Nearly two weeks after his outing with Teyla, Brendan had finally decided to bring her flowers. It might have been a little late, but it was the thought that counted and if nothing else, Brendan had definitely put a lot of thought into it. Ronon, who had just picked up Teyla's Bantos sticks from outside her hut, turned when he heard the shuffling of footsteps behind him. He had been expecting Teyla, as they had planned for a spar that day, but what he got instead was Sheppard. Wearing an ugly suit and carrying flowers.

Brendan tried to peek around Ronon, tilting his body slightly sideways to look into the hut.

Ronon just stared at John, wondering what was going on. Why was he all dressed up, looking for Teyla and clutching a bunch flowers? Were John and Teyla dating now? For some reason, those sort of thoughts made Ronon.. happy. He smiled at John, feeling rather proud. It was about time.

"I always knew you two would hook up."

"You did?" Brendan said, his voice rather close to a squeak. Had Teyla been talking to her brother about him? Brendan blushed. "Oh well, we haven't hooked up or anything, but I thought I'd bring her flowers because I was too worried about the potential for embarrassment to bring them to her before."

Brendan furrowed his brow. Huh. Now why had he said that?
