Friends Poll: Where are my friends from?

Poll Where are my friends from?I put 'Western Asia' instead of 'Middle East' because I just...don't like the term 'Middle East' But I mean the part of the world that encompasses the northern countries of Africa as it goes into Southwest Asia like Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, etc. etc

I'm stuck in the wonderful state of Ohio. We have nothing. As in nothing. Unless you get a kick out of airplane museums and the whole Wright Brothers deal.

I LOOOOVE OHIO! One of my best friends lives in Columbus and I visited her and her boyfriend during spring break '06 and we spent Easter in this great little town called LOGAN! I misssss Ohio and would totally visit again!

Heh. That's not exceptionally far from me--I'm in Miamisburg.

I forgot to mention we also have roller coasters, too. Which is tons of fun! The whole Cedar Pointe deal. Yus! And so I suppose that's something.

Have you read "WEIRD OHIO" ? I definitely recommend it. It comes in second next to my all time favorite WEIRD PENNSYLVANIA (where I used to live)

I used to be from East Asia...nearly 15 years ago.

I lived all over the place in the US, too. Lemme tell ya, Arkansas? THE MOST BORING PLACE EVER. You can only go hiking in the Ozarks so many times before it becomes boring as hell.

For fun, people in Arkansas would go to Oklahoma. I am not joking. I am dead serious. Just the act of going there was infinitely more interesting than staying in Arkansas.

And I lived there back when the internet was still slow as Christmas.

Oh the wonderful (and freezing) Illinois is where I'm stuck at. And where I live there is next to nothing to do. >_> That's what I get for living outside of Chicago...

Did I mention that it is freezing here?

Aw, I'm sorry. But I hear Chicago itself is pretty cool (no pun intended). I would complain about how chilly I am here but ha ha then you would have every right to strangle me XD

Chicago is cool. For two reasons mainly
1) Really cool theaters
2) It's freaking Gotham in Nolanverse Batmovies.
And it's really windy there. XD
