Weather & Holiday

So my mind is now very set on going to Ireland & England next summer, the only decision now is to figure out if I want to go in June or August. Weather is very important in determining this and I really need the help of those who live and/or have traveled ( Read more... )

A pack a mac is a waterproof mac[intosh] in a pack! It's a lightweight waterproof coat/poncho in a little bag - some are single use throwaway ones and others are sturdier and reusable. I'm sure you have them in the US but they probably just have a less spiffy name! ;D

yeah, I'm sure we just call them slickers or ponchos here. I'll probably get a lightweight raincoat...it looks like I'm going to experience some serious rain in Ireland.

yeah, that no air conditioning in the tube thing is going to be a pain in my ass...but if that last link is really accurate your August average max. of 20c is my winter weather. I doubted it rained day in, day out in England, but just being prepared for rain & humidity is my concern. thanks for the reply and links!
