That IS sweet, with just the right touch of angst at the end. <3

You are so talented, Miss Aislynn. It's the sign of a good writer when I'm reading along and the voices/faces all pop into my head as if I'm watching it on the show for which the author is writing. (I'm a bit scattered, so sorry for that overly verbose sentence there.)

Oh, this is all so gorgeous, but especially this:

He can feel milliseconds ticking through her, the whole of her life little more than a brief flicker against the vast canvas of all of time and space.
I always like that connection to the passage of time that he must feel always.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear you liked that line! I went back and nearly cut it a couple of times but I just thought that would have to be something he was always so aware of and it felt like it would be something he'd be thinking about in that time. :D I'm so glad you thought it worked!
