And so I am home. I actually got home on New Year's Eve (more on that in a minute), but I have spent the week dealing with 2007's lovely parting gift, a cold. Gee, you shouldn't have.

Neat! It's a very nice little terminal, with the wood beams and the model float plane. It was daylight, so unfortunately I didn't see your lights. And then we got to zip along the runways to get to the main terminal, which was exciting (yeah, I'm easily amused).

All of this meant that it was a quarter to eleven by the time I got home, where I was greeted by about eight cops restraining a screaming DUI. And a happy new year to you too, sir.

Oh, the Cessna was fun. A bit brutal on the sinuses, but fun.

I tried to have the hat jauntily over one ear, but he kept clawing it off.
