I finally finished The Chariot. I've begun sleeping with Strength under the pillow and maybe I'll start the picture this weekend. Maybe one day I'll post pics of the finished cards, though I do travel with it so I'll probably be working on it at some point next weekend in WV ( Read more... )

I'm sketching the cards in pencil on a cheap sketchbook then going back over it (pointillism) with Crayola fine-tipped markers. And to think I got the markers on a whim during back-to-school because they were cheap and I like to color!

I'd love to see it. I have no gotten up the nerve to actually draw a deck yet. I do collage and digital collage tarot cards though. It takes me hours to do one drawing so it would take me years to do a deck. On the other hand I know someone who painted a deck who took ten years to do so. I don't have that kind of patience.
