I tried to keep track of how much times he got hit on the head when watching Season 1 and 2 with my friend; I'm afraid I rather lost count. That would be an Interesting Skientific Fact: maybe I should keep a paper record.

Oh, this was so very, very lovely. Ian getting distracted and accidentally walking into a doorframe is exactly the sort of thing I can see happening, and oh, the last two lines are just beautiful. This fic has given me such a warm, happy feeling. Love it!
