HAPPY BIRTHDAY, malaleen!

Latest *headdesk* moment, a review on a fic (not mine) on ff.net: there is no way that Ian, Barbara or Rose could know who Susan was, because the Doctor left her in the 22nd century to marry David Campbell. Unless she somehow managed to travel back in time...

Maybe they were told about Susan and got confused about when she was there? Maybe they thought she had left before Ian and Barbara joined up? Although even if that was the case it completely disregards the possibility of the Doctor telling them about Susan.

I firmly believe that the Doctor used to talk about previous companions. If for no other reason then to validate the wonderful exchange he has with Turlough in Loups-Garoux.

People are stupid.

But hang on, I've just realised; the person who wrote that review was the same person as wrote the brain-breakingly, almost squicky OOC fic I posted about a while back. A hideously brain-breaking fic, in which the Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbara are travelling together.

I haven't actually listened to that audio, but that's the one that used to be quoted at who_otp, before the layout change, right? Even out of context, that made me giggle.

Me too :( I just cannot understand why it's always her. It's never Hilda who gets mortally injured; it's always her. *sigh*

Goodbye aunts = goodbye show.
