She goes to escape with baby Melody, and Captain Bonneville has taken over her ship. But somehow she gets far away?
And in the old series, the Master would get obviously blown up or incinerated and STILL show up again a year or so later. I've stopped questioning ridiculous getaways. (That said, I imagine Lady Eyepatch was as much a ganger as Melody was.)
She's built her life around the hope of seeing him again, which is actually terribly sad. Who might she have been otherwise?
Yeah, I hated that.
That bit where Melody melted was horrifying
OMG, YES! I shrieked. And I don't often shriek. POOR AMY.
although I did have a moment of suspecting she was actually his mother because it was his crib and going 'Oh no, she can't be. This is still supposed to be a family show, isn't it? BBC? But she wasn't, so phew)
Lol, me too! I sat here going, "...Mother? Mother?!" kind of like a shocked and angry version of the gasmask zombie child. So I'm glad that wasn't what happened.
Somewhat offset by 'Let's Kill Hitler'. Seriously?I
