Long Weekend #2

This past weekend Adam, Andrew, and I had Friday and Monday off so we took off for our long weekend in Durban. What an incredible place…one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to, mainly just based on the location. The entire east side of the city is straight sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean, the beaches stop and the land wraps

AND I TOO am GRATEFUL to Andrew and Adam for being there with you - Andrew did reassure me that he'd watch out for you and he's keeping his end of the bargain (Think I heard that Dad talked to him as well). Sounds "kinda" scarey to me AND I can't wait for you to set foot on Canadian soil again.."I am afterall the mother"...

i love to read your updates and see how you're doing. i understand what you mean about being a visible minority, but luckily koreans are a bit more conservative and i've only been mistaken as a russian prostitute once! haha. usually it's only the really young children or elderly people here who stare and it's usually the younger children who scream "hello! how are you! nice to meet you!" after you. but then again, i've been here for 9 1/2 months so i've grown a bit accustomed to people staring, and the overall confusion of being a minority and not speaking the language! i'm actually worried about going back to north america where people understand what i'm saying!

your experience sound so wonderful and i'm so proud of you! you are such an amazing girl and definitely worthy of the name Agape ;)

Hey Jocelyn,
It's funny that we are currently 9 hrs apart and Mom has us each so far away from her in totally opposite directions. As with Mom and Ria, I'm very happy that Andrew is there with you. He's a nice guy and I know he's looking out for you so that puts us all at ease :)

Travis just read your last message...his first time reading your journal. He says hi and something sarcastic that I told him I wasn't going to type. I miss you and Love You Always. Can't wait to exchange pics and stories with you!! ~Sibia~
