Yesterday made me long for the simpler times.

I've always enjoyed the company of beasts.

They are refreshing in their crude honesty.

Mm.
And the ticking?
Is anyone still interested in the Countdown?

Warded to Setsuna;

Join me to look for Kurai when she's healed.

post curse, alexiel's kind with animals and children

But--But animals that can talk?!

That was er--interesting.

How are you doing today?

They share a language, mankind don't understand.

I'm rested.

I suppose--

That's good. You didn't get turned into anything yesterday?

No.

I communed with them.

I like animals. But I think I prefer being a person.

I think most people just try to put the countdown out of their minds.

They ignore their problems instead of facing them.

For how long?

Until the end, I guess.

The end will not come.

That's probably why you molded me this way. And I guess it's only natural you'd find blunt honesty appealing when you had to hide you own feelings and deal with the lies of Heaven.

And of course I'm still interested. I'm pretty sure I asked you about it last, but I need more information. You got any? Or any idea where I could get it. The deities seem like a dead end, but I could try anyway.

Of course. I already told her shrew highness I was going.

Yes. You are exactly how I wished to be.

The information I've gathered isn't near enough to weave a plan. There is the waiting and pay attention to the deities and their designs.

[Warded;]

Hatter was faster than any of us.

But the demon is more familiar with this process.

You could just be who you want.

What information do you have? I've got nearly nothing at this point other than everyone's speculations and theories. That's not good enough.

Process.... She's growing up? Like last time.... It's a weird way of doing it.

They would see our exchanges, Setsuna. The wards are futile.

Uriel and a man called V ran a research. They had this theory that was neither disputed nor agreed on that the Countdown leans to the end with our negative emotions and to our salvation with our positive ones.

Then is the one that this City is a Noah's Ark.

Yes. Mad Hatter has always been the one who assists her in this stage.

I am, and I hope others come forward. There's little any of us can do individually.

Any news?

None.

In the past, those higher ranked than our local deities visited us.

They answered some of our doubts. Wherever they lied or spoke truths, this is at anybody's guest.

I've heard a little bit about that. What sorts of things did they say, exactly?

againstgod October 15 2008, 19:14:13 UTC
Many things. That in the end would be a beginning, that this city could be an Ark, that as long there are people within, the clock would tick to one side or the other.

That they are just puppets.

I kinda liked yesterday, myself. Being an animal for the day was fun.

The Countdown?

[ooc: Placeholder while I run to class. @_@]

Was it? The only change is in how the shell looks.

Can't you hear the ticking clock masked as a Carousel?

Well, yes. But things look different when you're an animal, and you have to adapt to a different body than the one you had before, which I thought was pretty neat.

Ah- yes, I can. I usually try to ignore it, but...

I heard when I first arrived here that it was a "countdown to the end of all worlds". I just never knew if it was true or not.
