I stumbled upon it yesterday. Nooooo! Not another Mac blog! Let's just keep posting our Apple-related raves on PWiT and never mind if Howard gets p---ed off. [Joke] I'll add it to my ever-lengthening list of blogs to (try to) read regularly. I'm glad to see you've taken a liking to Wordpress.
I looove Wordpress. No disrespect to my current (and wonderful) EJ host LiveJournal, but if I could figure out how to export this blog to WP without losing the comments I would export it in a snap. I wish I discovered it earlier.
Regarding Mr. Paw, he is the only Mac-basher I know who uses a tricked-out Macbook as his main machine at the same time. Man.
upgrade to the latest version of WP. It will help too as there's a built in script to do this. but that URL will teach you how to do it. You may need to do it on a Windowze Machine though -- ironically :)
"The best utility I found for exporting LiveJournal posts was ljArchive, which can be found at http://fawx.com/ljArchive/. Right now, there is only a Windows version, and it requires the .NET framework (which can be downloaded using Windows Update). I used this program to export all my LJ posts and comments into an XML file. (If you’re on a Mac or a Linux system, you’ll hopefully be able to Google some other utilities that do this.)"
I am loving wordpress as well. it's soooooo "intelligent". gives you everything you need to know. i don't have a blog there yet, but i'm managing one for someone else. i'm actually thinking of putting one up there, too.
