Your minimal use of direct speech really sets the whole atmosphere of this fic. Really well done. And I'm sorry but I had to laugh at 'King Arthur, Ruler of the galactic outer dimension of Albion'. I'm just imagining Arthur flying around in his very own spaceship. :D

Ah, the lack of speech, I didn't know if that would work, or not. So that you say it 'sets the atmosphere' makes me happy. I knew the description would have to be stronger for it to work at all, so that's what I basically tried to do.

LOL, see the thing with writing an alien fic is that as dramatic as it may be you know it's going to be nutty too because, he's an alien! Yes, I have imagined too Arthur flying in his own spaceship because originally there was supposed to be more to this, but alas no time. So we'll just picture Arthur zooming around space.

Your use of language is remarkable. I admit I was a little confused at the start but then when I got into the flow I found this very easy and fun to read. I liked how you managed to write this without much need of dialogue. :)

Also the idea of Arthur being an alien made me think of him going around the universe in a spaceship - and that made me giggle.

'Remarkable' Ah, cool! One of the nicest things to read about my writing because I did intentionally choose the language carefully for this.

Yeah, I knew it was probably going to be strange, definitely took a chance with this one that possibly worked. I'm glad that it got easier as it went along. The lack of dialogue, I had no idea if it would work or not, so I'm glad it was okay that way.

Hee, yes Arthur as an alien was a kind of wild concept, but it was uh, definitely fun and I too have pictured him flying around.
