Delightful-PG-Fluff/Drama-None / Note: takes place Christmas after WWIIThe war ended earlier in the year. Finally. After all the horrors of Pearl Harbor and the Nazi occupation, home was warm and cozy again. Home of course was two destinations, hers, Georgia of the states, his, Bibury, England

They kissed each other with barely contained excitement. Their relationship was still months new, wonderful and novel. And their lips were so warm, like the fire just gently burning beyond

He laughed, letting her pull him along. They entered the kitchen with her bouncing around like a young girl ever so excited on Christmas Eve. He finally revealed the contents. Inside the bags was a whole bunch of popping corn kernels, chocolate mix and chips, whipping cream and some twine

This was just...perfect! I loved the setting and the emotions you conveyed that a lot of soldiers and nurses would have suffered during/post WWII.

And the last bit was just beautiful!

That made my heart hurt, it was so lovely.

"whispering shakily,“Guinevere….stay with me.” & "Solo, that was in the past." (melt) That just about sums it up.
