FEEDBACK
They were all enjoyable to read, and the authors managed take the prompts and create tender (and some were funny) moments between Arthur and Gwen.
Everyone did such a fantastic job! It was a challenge just to choose!
DC06En02: It was nice to see an era where the four mains were still friends. You wouldn't catch Merlin dead teaming up with Morgana for a snow fight now. He'd only do it just because Arthur/Gwen would want to be on the same team because it's not a fair fight if Gwen's on someone else's team. She'd a a distraction for Arthur. I LOVED that Uther joined in at the end too.
DC06En03: It was short but sweet. I adored the whole falling petals of different colours around Gwen like confetti. I had an image in my head if there being red, pink, yellow and white. They'd be so pretty. :)
DC06En04: Lovely fic because I always like proposal fics. It was nice that he did it on her birthday and made it a romantic setting with the petals.
DC06En05: Just a nice little family scene. Bless the youngest of the boys wanting to go swimming and not ruin his clothes.
DC06En06: I liked the way you described all the aspects of Gwen's hair... and then ended it with reference to her famous loose curl, that he tucks behind her ear. Lovely!
DC06En07: Very fluffy and very sweet. I hope we get a scene where Arthur asks Gwen to be his 'Queen' as well as his wife. His love does come with a crown, after all.
DC06En08: Bless Arthur trying to write a poem for Gwen for Valentine's Day. I just hearted his terrible attempt at being romantic through his words. The first poems any of us wrote in school were these types, and I think it's cute that Gwen found it so lovely. He probably could have wrote anything vaguely flattering and she'd have loved him just for his attempt. Lovely! <3
DC06En09: I just LOVED this. Sick!Arthur, the knights all so concerned about him that they've wrapped him up in warmth but he doesn't want to be treated any better than them. I liked how his illness is very... realistic and how Gwen prepares something to help him sleep. I imagine it must be scary when someone you love is ill but Gwen is very calm and wifely. (I love the joke about Elyan at the end too!)
DC06En10: This one actually felt a bit sad at the beginning because Arthur didn't even known what Valentine's Day and Gwen was feeling left out because the other girls all got tokens from their admirers. I think we all know what it's like not to get anything :'( And then when Arthur attempted to cook for her, it was sweet. The soup was probably awful but she was good at convincing him it was nice.
DC06En11: This was brilliant and was definately my favourite. There is just something about Arthur teaching Gwen how to use dangerous weapons. It was very sensual; as a blacksmith's daughter I always felt Gwen would know how the weapons worked, she would just need to learn how to use them effectively. I think my favourite bit was when Gwen's mind started to wander a little when he straighted her back ("What did you think I was talking about?") Steamy! What made it even better was that Arthur knew she was probably thinking about something other than the weaponry.
DC06En12: I'm not surprised they re-accquinted themselves with aggression if he's been away for two years. They probably needed it. It was short but very sexy!
