I've been thinking about this since I stopped crossposting. Ever since I made that decision and stopped trying to keep up with news about LiveJournal-as-a-service, I've been feeling much happier, a lot less stressed

If you have such an abiding hate for LJ as it appears from reading this entry, why keep this account at all? You can ask people to add your DW OpenID acct to their Flists, delete your LJ, and never let them darken your doorstep again.

ETA: And to be clear, when I say I've been happier avoiding LJ-service-related wank, I mean I don't read news posts, I don't read news comments, I avoid reading toxic comments and feeling burnt out.

So I guess... yeah.

I'm thinking about doing the opposite of you, actually: stop posting on DW and switch back to simply updating LJ. It seems you're the only person who reads my entries on DW, and if you're still checking your LJ flist then you can do the same here, right?

And I don't actually read my DW flist, my LJ flist is the only thing I check. But if you're leaving here permanently, then I'll just check your DW journal directly. *smooches*

Glad you'll still read up over here as I like DW but try to keep things simple and post here pretty much all the time. Hmmm, I could do some more secret stuff over there as certain people in my life don't know about it while still getting feedback from the outer world...
