ooh, i am learning brasilieran portugues also! but not trying so hard as mostly i am into spanish. if you need a buddy to bounce off of, you've got me.

every time (like, not so very often nowadays, but sometimes) that i listen to the part where the song says "sugar cane in the moorning" i think of you because the night previous i had met you and your friends with karen in the fandom hotel room and in the morning i had taken my parents for brunch at cafe brasil where they have got yummy sugar cane juice. i don't know, it works in my head. so every time that part comes on i think of drinking sugar cane and juice and you!

hey honey, i don't know where you're at right now. it is relevant information because i'm kinda testing the waters for maybe having a biggish-for-me but-smallish-as-per-"norm" birthday-party type thing? on account of turning 30? and i was like, i'd love it if *[you]* were there! so it might be around the last week of october or first week of november, and i am polling cool peeps who i care about and care about me when might be preferrable for them, and then probably the datestimes that works best for the most people would be when that might be? and would you prefer an OC type location as opposed to an LA type location? will you even be in socal around that time? or you will be busy with taking or even giving finals? i don't know, i'd like to know, holler back but i hope your summer is going smooth and easy what with living and stuff. <3

I will not be in socal then, but I could maybe fly down and crash somewhere for the evening? Possibly. November would work well for me. But don't take me into account when making plans, because I'm not sure. I hope I can!
