This tutorial will not work for every icon and is not intended to produce an exact replica.
Play around with opacities and layers to acheive your own unique look.
Step 1.
Duplicate your base.
Set this layer to screen at 50%.
Step 2.
Duplicate your base; drag it to the top.
Set this layer to softlight at 100%.
Step 3.
Create a new selective coloring layer.
Input the following.
Reds
cyan (-100)
yellow (+100)
Yellows
cyan (+100)
yellow (-100)
Neutrals
cyan (-10)
magenta (-17)
yellow (-30)
black (+42)
Step 4.
Create a new selective coloring layer.
Input the following.
Reds
cyan (-80)
yellow (+100)
Yellows
cyan (+100)
yellow (-100)
Neutrals
cyan (+19)
Step 5.
Create a new layer and fill it with (#042a44).
Set this layer to exclusion at 100%.
Step 6.
Duplicate your base; drag it to the top.
Set this layer to softlight 100%.
Step 7.
Create a new layer and fill it with (#d3d3d3).
Set this layer to color burn at 100%.
Step 8.
Duplicate your base; drag it to the top.
Set this layer to screen at 25%.
and your finished!
