If you live in virginia I'm mad at you. I typed this three times over and I'm not doing it again so if you want to know just ask me. In a nutshell, often I find it difficult to respect you, I'm tired of my religion being disrespected, I'm tired of peer pressure to be bisexual, unitarian and polyamorous, I'm tired of certain things being expected of ( Read more... )

Give me examples of when I do these things!
Please!
These are things I try my damndest not to do, because I really do believe that they're personal choices!

When have I not encouraged your lesbianism? And I DISTINCTLY remember defending catholocism to you very early on in our relationship when you had a crisis of faith! What's more is I couldn't give a rats ass if you were poly or not so long as we're still allowed naked time. Because I like laying in bed with you for 18 hours at a streach just cuddling and talking and kissing and snuggling. Because it's nice. And I love you. A lot.

Really, I'd like to know, because I really don't mean to do any of those things, because I consider them despicable, and I really thought I was pretty damn good about them, but obviously not because you definately IMed me and told me specifically that you were mad at me...

Exactly how is that manipulative? And what do you mean by "the rest of US"? I was talking about group peer pressure I feel, not individual people, and that does include everyone I know in virginia. Well, not Dan and Liz. But that's it. Who am I manipulating and to what end? I'm just voicing a frustration I have had for a long time and am tired of dealing with.

Obviously you don't see the pressure. Well when everyone is playing strip poker and you have to say no three times before anyone even takes you seriously. Or when you say "I'm no religion" and they say oh you must be uu and christianity is continuously mocked. Or when there's something wrong with you when you don't want to kiss somebody. And I'm sorry but y'all are not polyamorous, y'all are just whores. I fully realize that just because my friends are big atheist whores doesn't mean that I have to be but when they assume certain things and they act a certain way towards you sometimes it's difficult. I don't know. Talk to Liz if you want to know more about peer pressure. She's more articulate than I am.
