All I can say is the standard, read it in a peer counseling guide, kind of bullshit, but in all reality is entirely truthful: Do whatever the fuck you want, hon. If you don't want to go to grad school, then don't. I know, easier said than done. But sometime, people need a break, time to clear their head in order to make a life altering decision.

You are living it to the best of your ability, but also remembering to enjoy every moment (hey, we only get one of these things.)
Where do I want to go to grad school?
At the university that has the program you like the best, with the most opportunities for internships, research grants, etc., in an area of the country that you like.
What do I want to go to grad school FOR?
For something that you are interested enough in that you could happily make a living doing it.
Why am I not studying for the GRE's I so desperately need to retake to offset my depressingly low GPA?
Because you are being a lazy bum. GO STUDY.
Should I even be going to grad school?
Because a McDonald's manager uniform would clash with your skin tones -- and because any job worth having these days requires at least a Masters.
What right do I have to higher education?
Every right.
Didn't I already ask myself all these questions like a year ago?Possibly. But revisiting them is always good, because it allows for regrouping ( ... )
