Sure. So, when a person is victimized (I'm not going into detail here, I think you know what I'm talking about, but if you don't I'll explain later) he either identifies as the victim or, instead, with the aggressor. When he identifies as the victim, he continues to be victimized, like it becomes a pattern. When he identifies with the aggressor, it gives him some sense of power, although it can lead to rather nasty thoughts and sometimes actions as well. Like how people who were sexually molested as children are more likely when they're adults to sexually molest children.
