Nobody's touched his room, except for some light dusting here and there. He won't have long to admire it, since Roberta has been instructed to notify the master of the house when friends or family drop by.

"Ben."

Reed's at the door, grinning from ear to ear.

He chuckles, shaking his head.

"Wait, really, that's the kind of greeting I get?" Spidey replied good-naturedly, arms crossed.

"Well, being a member of the Defenders is technically my actual job now, and for lack of any other options at present the Baxter Building is our base," he explained.

His voice dropped to a whisper, and he leaned in closer to Ben, "Also, confidentially, I'm here to sneak from Johnny's secret soda stash before he gets back, because lord knows he doesn't need the extra caffeine."

"I just walked here from what used to be Philadelphia. I ain't exactly gonna be sociable until I get a Gino's Pizza in me," he returns, rubbing his head with his rocky palm and trying to get his bearings.
