It's not easy to sleep through someone less than 6 inches away having a nightmare. It's damned near impossible for these two to sleep through anything to begin with, and Allison screaming is something that definitely jerks John awake, hands on her shoulders, before he's even processed anything.
If he were anyone else, anyone other than John, she'd have shoved him off the bed or tried to choke him. Thanks, Sarah. Thanks. As it is, it takes her more than a moment to compose herself.
Yeah. That's not happening. "I'm glitching. There's a glitch. You have to fix it. John, you have to fix it."
"Calm down, calm down." He touches her shoulders, her face. "Look at me. You're okay, you're fine, you're not glitching." Nightmares aren't a glitch. Fears are not a glitch. "You're okay, you're going to be okay."
