World's Sexiest Men

Hi guys, just feeling at a loose end so thought I would post an entry. I am listing my idea of the ten sexiest men and would love input from you guys.

1) No contest has to be Johnny Depp - the brown eyes, the facial structure, the extraordinary talent just a perfect specimen.

2) Keanu Reeves - I know he's ageing but is still too cute for words.

Depp and Jackman - oh, yes. And George C has that real old-fashioned Hollywood thing going on, very Cary Grant. RDJ makes the cut for this reason. Michael Weatherley's a sub.

There has to be charm, along with the looks. Pretty plastic people are extremely dull.

I totally agree with the substance needed. One of the reasons I listed Johnny Depp as number one apart from the obvious is that I was quite impressed by the commentary on POTC 2. The famous kiss between himself and Keira Knightley which apparently she begged the writers to include, he was quite uncomfortable filming. He stated he felt like a dirty old man because he is almost twice her age. When I heard that I just thought, wow, how many guys in his age group have absolutely no qualms in seducing a woman Keira's age? Particularly as he is not old, he is the same age as me, mid to late forties which is usually the age when they start to need the young girlies to boost their flagging egos. He just went from dreamboat to legend in my books and has been number one since

Some of these guys have definitely got better looking as they mature. There needs to be a bit of life experience there. I think the 'family man' quality is a big factor for most of the truly charming gentleman around. (Hardwired gender bias?)

Of course, if we're talking about tasty playthings, the 'Guilty Pleasures' list has a different set of criteria... *filthy smirk*
