OMGs! I loved this. The cut line made me chuckle.

I love how you handle the possibility of the Sharon/Pope ship. The reference to BSG--overcome by events--made me LOL. And her need to go first.

This was so much fun!

Fritz and Sharon have become a guilty pleasure of mine. It's hard to actually ship them, but they do make a delightful fantasy.

Hope they change their minds about the "never again."

Yes, this pairing feels totally wrong. But wrong can be hot! I love them both separately so of course they should have sex. Even if I had to be really uncharitable about Brenda to get them there. :P

Wrong? You are talking to a woman who paired Laura Roslin with Tom Zarek, remember. This, in comparison, is Juliet and Romeo dying for each other, or the narrator of Annabel Lee sleeping each night in the tomb. It's almost meant to be, and you do it very well.

You and marzipanilla really must become friends. Roslin/Zarek (I do remember! That was the first fic of yours I ever found!) is marzi's new thing. She's been writing them as zombies with crushes.

Thanks for reading. :)

Look at you smutting behind my back!!!! Oh gods! I feel so betrayed. Or I did. But that was sort of hot. As you know I don't really watch the Closer, but that didn't keep this from being a yummy little diversion.

Oh BT. I ♥ you forever. I am your humble smut protege.

She hummed affirmatively

I stand by that being the first sign of smuttiness to come -laugh-

Oh Fritz, he really is trying, but I don't understand how anyone could put up with BLJ in their home life. :/
I honestly don't begrudge him this in the slightest.

Mm. Illicit desk!sex. Even though Fritz giving them mood lighting makes it slightly less scandalous to me -laugh-

I promised the use of vertical blinds! I like your "mood lighting" characterization. I really debated about whether late afternoon illicit desk!sex would be a cause for dimming the lights or not, but ultimately figured that fluorescents flatter no one. :P

I'm glad to hear some one else is on board with St. Fritz and how he gets taken for granted...not saying it justifies cheating, but wow.

This is true.

I don't say it justifies it either, it's just really hard to hold it against him considering all the crap he takes from his wife. Does she actually do anything for him over the course of the show? Or compromise in any capacity? It's a two way street, honestly.. I missed a good chunk of season four. Does something good happen for him in season four?

No idea of S4--my viewing's been intermittent--but yeah, Fritz takes a lot of crap and I don't really know why. *shrugs*

You and joelthecat need to become buddies. She's done Roslin/Zarek. And you should read her story Good Intelligence. It's a fantastic NCIS/Closer crossover with some cracky pairings!

Oooooooh... this was good. Very good. Excellent. :D
I loved the crisp tone of the fic and that it was written from Fritz's pov. My favourite lines were those when Fritz was thinking. I loved his dry, ironic view of everything.
Very well done! :D
