This was birthday perfection from start to finish :-) I love that it's her idea, that it's her courtroom and she loves it so much...and actually, her choice of art is making me misty-eyed, that she'd immortalize not only where they met, but little shops and spots that make up the "courthouse community" as well as its ideals.

Oh, the smut...it's excellent, chair-busting smut! And in the midst of the behind-the-scenes look at the judge's bench :-) I always felt like that was "holy ground" (and a little scary) and this just proves it.

And their relationship is perfect here. Partners, plus something very primeval, on top of pure emotion. Yum and true A/R.

And my Judge Cottle love knows no bounds here :-) Of course he'd know the stress limits of those chairs. And the salute at the end was pure gold.

Thanks so much for this. I know you understood how terrifying the shutdown was IRL. Bless you for finding a bright spot in there. A hot, sexy, furniture-destroying bright spot :-)
