Best part: the image of Willie Rae Johnson haunting the man who was fooling around on her daughter. Poignant yet hilarious, and that's an odd combination to pull off. Well done, again!

So much to love here--the relationship between Sharon and her kids is sweet, and realistic, and they know and accept each other so well. Loved her daughter raiding her closet! And great relationship or not, I got the detail about locking her nightstand up before letting her daughter stay in her room

Oh wow! I was not expecting this installment! I really thought you were gonna sidestep the whole kids issue. I am so impressed! Awesome chapter. I really liked Sharon's interaction with the kids and Gavin. The dude's just great. I actually got sidetracked for a moment in my head, and started contemplating whether Gavin was Sharon's mysterious husband... but, enough about my crazy. I loved how you portrayed the kids! The whole mother-daughter moment regarding her clothes was fabulous. Hit home. Lol at the nightstand! hahahaaa, so fab!
And the fritz moments.. so sweet and awkward at the same time! really well done. Your writing is truly fabulous! ♥
