I had not heard of Sandman getting adapted. That would be pretty freakin' awesome. BUT ONLY IF HANDLED CORRECTLY KTHX.

I actually kinda had this discussion with my brother today. About Supernatural and how I wish it had more regularly occurring awesome female characters. He was like, but it's about two brothers, and I was like, yeah and I love them but come on. I've barely seen anything of it, but so far women in this show seem to mostly serve as a plot device or to make the boys more angsty. Or both.
