I really enjoyed alice, but I spent every scene "Jack" was in being all "OMG IT'S THE HOT GUY FROM CRUSOE! WTF DID HE DO TO HIS AMAZING HAIR?!?"

But yeah, great miniseries!!

Lol I've never watched Crusoe, so I can't say I had that problem. I probably would have though, because I am easily distracted by awesome hair. X)

Ahhh! Andrew Lee-Potts! He was the only reason I watched as much of this as I did. But I didn't manage to finish past part one.
Did you ever watch Primeval (the BBC being ridiculous, as per usual)?
What did you think of Tin Man?

I watched the first couple of eps of Primeval, back when it first premiered on BBC America, but I wasn't really hooked. And I actually didn't think much of ALP's character at all! *was young and foolish* But he totally won me over for Alice. I was like, 'ok this is alright' (I was kinda iffy on the Alice actress) in the beginning and then he came in and I was like O.O

I watched Tin Man a while ago, so I don't remember a whole lot of it. I liked it, but that was about it. I wouldn't mind rewatching it though. :)

It's probably got more to do with my ridiculous number of issues with Alice re-tellings than with any actual problem with the series itself. (I thought the world was really compelling, but I couldn't deal with what they'd done to Wonderland. Because. All this angry, depressing, twisted post-modern bullshit rubs me the wrong way when it comes to Alice. I realized this after I still managed to pitch a fit over Tim Burton's Alice which I liked as a Tim Burton movie and hated as a re-telling of Alice.)
Connor was my favorite bit of Primeval until the newest season when they took on Jason Flemyng as Danny Quinn and then they were tied. Because. Jason Flemyng rocked. (I have no other words... /fail ( ... )
