Does anyone else watch this series on Lifetime?
I'm having a real hard time with it... its not at all realistic, it actually makes me want to throw up a little.

Hahaha, but its Lifetime - what was I expecting, afterall?

Anyway, I hope everyone's doing well, and all of our loved ones are SAFE.

Tonight's episode pissed me off.

The 6 month thing with the widow is completely realistic though and I've heard of awful things happening to some of these women.

My FRG is not supportive like that at all.

I do believe some military girls have a bond and I'm glad the show displays that. The cheating temptation is out there for a lot of people. Every time my fiance calls someone else has found out about his wife/girlfriend cheating.

That's terrible about that many people in his unit finding out about cheating! Wow! That's so bad on the guy's morale!

Yeah, I was mainly commenting on Lifetimes perception of the FRG. Even tho I am the ONLY family my boyfriend has, I am not welcome into the group because Im "just a girlfriend."

Some parts that they address are realistic, the cheating, the PTSD, the widow's, etc.

Unrealistic: most mil wives arent that supportive, nor are the FRG's, depolyments dont happen in a day, most are planned months and months ahead, and most Colonels wives dont exactly chill with the PV2's wife. Just my experience in my 3 years as a mil wife.

Most military waves are anywhere near as good looking or thin as the actresses on that show, either.

I have enjoyed the show, but lately I haven't always been able to catch it. I don't think it's meant to be realistic- it's been to be over sensationalized. Much like everything else on Lifetime!

I really wish they had done it as a reality series in some way. Profiling diffrent famlies and diffrent views. But I don't that would be as exciting, watching me go on with my boring life and waiting to hear from him though email- wouldn't exactly make a great show! lol

A true documentary would be much better... maybe a little more boring, but much better.
