The month of March offered two different animal centered books: Farm Sanctuary; Changing Hearts and Minds about Animals and Food by Gene Baur and Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows: An Introduction to Carnism" by Melanie Joy PhD.

I had never heard of Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows: An Introduction to Carnism until I read this, but I really, really want to read it now. Your book reviews are always incredible, thanks!

Thanks Josh, I was inspired by your frequent album reviews! It is a good book. I feel the price was a little much for the the actual amount of pages (when you exclude sources and foot notes, it only ends up being 150 pages) but well worth it to be able to spout smart sounding science terms at defensive (and aggressive) omnis.
