So one day long ago architeuthis sent me this song, with the comment something along the lines of, "Dean is such a shitty boyfriend in season five." And you know, me grueling and stewing about it for months with this song on too much replay made me realize that everyone in the series is a terrible boyfriend to Castiel: Dean, Uriel, Anna, Gabriel, God. But that's okay, Cas is awesome and ends up doing just fine for himself - because that's what BAMFs do.*
Free will's a tricky thing. This wasn't exactly intended to be making a romantic argument except in a general cosmic way, (see what I did there) but as it usually goes on Supernatural the unintentional homoerotic subtext prevails! The panel will be at 4:30.
Massive thanks to thisbrain, when at the depths of my despair patted my head and told me I was pretty, and Florence Welch et. al. for creating such a beautiful song that making a vid to it is irresistible (seriously, Cosmic Love and the Twilight movies is like a newly birthed suburb over on Youtube), and architeuthis for starting this insanity and not laughing too much when I couldn't stop myself from getting excited about a lot of random little observations.
