The last option was too good, I had to pick it.

I love love love 5.04!Cas, but his existence (because of that verse) mostly really alarms me. He gets to be in a whole 'nother category.

uh huh, me too. i loved the whole, completely opposite of angel!cas thing. the women, orgies, the drugs and being high all the time. but still, it was just cas being a big bunch of angst, haha.

I loved it in the way that I love angsty Youtube videos and watching a gif of one of my favorite characters exploding. It just hurts so good.

Such a pretty desktop! So rare to see a light image of cas these days :)

This is only relevant if there's an incoming Winchester hug.

This made laugh and then become unreasonably sad. Stupid show...not giving us Dean/Cas or Sassy hugs... Not even a pat on the shoulder or a manly squeezing of an arm.

*grumbles*

Thank you! I wanted to play with watercolors and I needed a Cas desktop. Two tastes that taste great together!

There's a very good reason that I spend a disproportionate amount of time reading genfic with serial hugging. Or hug pollen. Or Castiel becoming a hug terrorist (no one is safe!) I need to get my fix somehow, after all.

My desktop thanks for you its new background.

And you're absolutely right about the genre trope. Castiel hasn't been acting like a robot, five-year-old or The University Grammar Of English in a very long time. But I guess it's easier to write him like that; when in doubt, "I do not understand". :/

A+ poll.

:DDD

I totally support people writing the stories that they are inspired to write, because hey, self expression is really good! But yeah Castiel is not emotionless, he's not stupid, and he's a hell of a lot older than most of the cast.

Personal tl;dr, but as a person living in a foreign place where barely anyone speaks my native language, I relate to Castiel much more as a cultural foreigner than someone who is mostly unable to understand things. Not having seen Fatal Attraction doesn't make you dumb or naive. But that's my personal little rant, and if people feel called to write him in those ways I hope they do! ...I just won't be as interested in reading it.

Thank you for voting in the poll! We need to collect it for hugging data.

You quoted Paradise Lost. You rock. And YES, he DOES use words like "insouciant" while stoned, and that's something fandom shouldn't forget. ;)

Paradise Lost makes me ship Lucifer/Uriel. TRUFAX. O.O

I like it a lot when Cas uses triple word score words and Dean just kind of ignores him. Hee.
