No one gets dateraped or felt up at work in Supernatural because there are no such things as dates or work...And when they are at work (wearing suspenders and the like) there are no females to be felt up.

This comment won't make any sense to you, but I'm going to make it anyway because I'm an ass like that: The problems I have with Gwen are almost the same problems I had with Martha as a companion. I loved Rose and I thought they did a great job with Donna (because Catherine Tate is the bees knees), but they totally dropped the ball on Martha and a lot of things that irk me about Gwen, irk me about Martha.

Sex and Violence would suggest otherwise. But yeah, despite people's complaints about the show killing female characters (despite the fact that they kill just as many male characters; I kind miss Hendrickson), Supernatural as a show is really good at ascribing agency to characters and not taking away their power, making them pregnant or crying over men or doing a "let's wait til Jack gets here!"ness. I feel like I'm completely missing something when people bitch so much about SPN but then don't seem to be comparatively looking at other things idkk. They never had like Jess or someone impregnated with demon spawn (okay there was Jesse's mom but that was like for 5 seconds and Jesse is actually a relevant character who can turn people into action figures
