So i was presented with a decision to make... now, im supposed to go in for surgery on 8 January. I WAS supposed to deploy in February for 4/8 months. Because i 'cant' go... they are having trouble finding someone to take my place. They actually came to me and asked if i could possibly postpone my surgery until after my deployment. Now! I say your health is important. if you get the surgery before deployment what is the recovery time needed for that?

well first, thank you for the reply :) it is much appreciated. I did get the surgery (its almost required under the circumstances). as for the recovery time, im not certain. Im pushing for full recovery (to deployment status) by the fall time line.

But for health being most important, the Air Force puts their needs over the individuals. Its kind of messed up but hey... there isnt much i can do about it. To play the game to its fullest... you have to play THEIR game. We will see what happens... even now. More shit is heading down the pike and i will post about that.
