I routinely harvest and consume natural protein, both meat and vegetable. I find it comforting to assume my (assumed?) place in the food cycle. Welcome back to yours.
And I had to get pregnant to fall off the wagon! Even two trips to "Birmingham" didn't make me fall... now hurry up and tell us the good stuff, I NEED my playa-fix!
dear, why do you need labels? I read the entry, and it seems to me that putting a label on this... just feels a bit too contrived and perhaps confining. Understand that i am expressing a broader view that is not limited to this entry, but rather reflects my mild annoyance with those who deem themselves "fishitarians" or the even more irritating "I'm a vegetarian... but sometimes i eat chicken"-type statements. I don't think you're joking or not being "hardcore" enough (to a theory in which i have a few doubts) about this.
Btw, also looking forward to hear about your recent experiences in the desert....
well, although they are sometimes useful for describing complex issues to people in fewer words... you're right that abhorent behaviour is often rightly associated with people who describe themselves by their diets... too many people associating themselves with a particular dietary restriction have the tendency to project their restrictions on others.
but i was mostly attempting to be amusing in this post; and as usual, i have completely failed in conveying my satirical tone in text.
"I'm a vegetarian... but sometimes i eat chicken"-type statements.
(twitch.. twitch...)
also looking forward to hear about your recent experiences in the desert....

I'm still thinking of going Vegan. The real reason I haven't yet is because I'm not sure how to stay healthy doing it. It sounds like a lot of work.
