Forgive me if I'm dousing the fire of creativity or something, but "cults" fighting for some sort of collective dream? Wouldnt that be something you DIDNT fight for?

the collective has never been without conflict.

oh, and "fighting" is only one of many methods by which to resolve conflicts.

Fight being a figurative sense. Fighting can be physical, emotional, political, et cetera.

Either way, I may be an idealist, but things get done because of it. It isnt wise to waste energy if the method and goal are same.

And I will be able to distinguish this event from the "usual" background ephemera of flipside exactly how? Or is it a Duchampean strategy?
I will drag a toilet around the field and proclaim loudly that neither the toilet or the events of the devolution are art!

Excellent question/point!
With all due respect to Duchamp, we will have tentacles emerging from our toilets...
And other various and sundry motifs will be apparent (elder signs, cthulhu, lovecraft, etc.)
Our propaganda will clearly define that we are engaging in a particular event... And the Chupacabra Policia can be... shall we say... persuasive, when it comes to rounding people up for a specific purpose.

And, as a matter of fact, we had thought that you would be an excellent person with whom to collaborate on this project.
We will certainly welcome the addition of any of your musical, multi-media, theatric & otherwise all around badass artistic talents to the Cthulhu devival!
