short term memory - HA!

Chemo brain is alive and well at my house. Last week I got a phone call from booking clerk for the medical reevaluation of my knee. I prompted wrote down what I thought was the day and time. So today I get ready and show up for my appointment at the designated time. Trouble is, the appointment is for the 16th, not the 15th!! In the time it took to ( Read more... )

Add me to the list of forgetting details seconds after I've been told. At least you have the chance to make it to the appointment the next day. I've had calls asking why I was late!!!!!

I wish. I think that those brain cells are dead and gone. They say when you lose a sense the others pick up the slack. I may learn "short hand" so I can write faster before I forget. I think I should buy stock in "Post It" notes.

I can only say that arriving early for something is always better than getting there even a couple of minutes too late. At least you had the chance to get there :o) BTW, a pen and paper by the phone is a great idea.
