Today was my first follow-up after finishing treatment. I'm up a couple of pounds (no surprise there) but the nurse and doctor were pleased with my health and attitude. I am scheduled for a mammogram in December and my 9 month check up in March of 2007. I feel good. I had thought it would be tough going back to the Cross Cancer Institute but I was ( Read more... )

Good news all around!!!!!! Congrats and I think it's really cool that you're going to volunteer, good for you!

I may have to wait a while. Normally they want you to finished with treatments for a year, but it also depends on what you are doing while volunteering. ( I'm not sure why, but I haven't read all the info yet) If I have to wait, I'll wait.

Woo, great. I agree with the last sentiment. Deal with what you can now, deal with what you can, when you can. Otherwise you'll just start tearing your hair out .... erm ... yeah

Thanks. My hair is far too precious to start tearing it out. Not only that it's so short still I doubt if I could get a grip on it anyway! HA!

You're such a tease!!! You post about your haircut, but you don't post a picture? Not fair!

IMHO, you should do a before, during, and after photo synopsis.

(Please, because it might confvince my husband that cutting my hair off isn't the end of the world.)

Okay. Tomorrow evening when Hubby is home I will get him to take a picture of me. Then I'll put in on my info page with the other two. How does that sound?
