Christmas boxes

Today our family packed 100 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. For more info follow the link Operation Christmas Child Things started late as we had to go out for an emergency shopping trip to fill the boxes a bit more. That was a lot of boxes to fill. I always enjoyed doing that. It was fun finding the items to fill the boxes. I was hoping one of the local churches here was doing it this year so I could participate.

It didn't seem like a lot. We started buying things in January and that actual packing only took a couple of hours. You can actually "pack a box" online, which I think is very cool. Maybe you can check that out if you don't find a church in your area.

Thank you. Our church is doing things a little differently this year compared to past years. I hope that even more children receive boxes this year.

Thank you. Our grandson really wanted to be part of it. He assembled boxes and then prayed over and filled boxes.
