Hubby and I went to Humpty's for brunch today. I'm an official member of the "Emerald Club" now that I've turned 55. Hubby snapped this picture of me with my new card using my iPhone.

I guess turning 55 has some perks after all. It's nice to finally see what you look like as I always picture you looking like the icon you used in the post.

Well, I used to look more like my icon, but I've been growing my hair out for a while. Of course the icon is very flattering. We found shoes, thank goodness.

Wow! Your hair has grown so much! I shouldn't be surprised, mine is much longer, but there you have it.

I don't 55 until January. I'm kind of not looking forward to it.

I'm not sure I want to keep my hair longer. I won't be cutting before we renew our vows but after that who knows.
Fifty-five isn't so bad. It's not the number it's the way my body is slowing down and giving out.
