Last fall the long range forecast for winter in Alberta said that it was going to be cold. So far the cold hasn't really materialized. We've had perhaps 2 1/2 to 3 weeks total of cold weather and very little snow. Tonight most of Alberta is under a storm watch and the Edmonton area is under a snowfall warning. It definitely looks like winter around here now. The roads are kinda nasty. We were going into Edmonton today, but it can wait. Hopefully you won't get hit too hard.

I looked at the weather channel and it seems like 70% of us are in for winds and cooler weather. You all will be the coldest. Stay safe!

Hubby went to the dump (we don't have garbage pick-up) and it served as a recce for road conditions. They aren't good so we are staying home and having a pizza and movie night. Hopefully the snow will stop overnight so the road crews can get out. Hubby has to go back to work tomorrow afternoon.
